Eccles receives Exceptional Leader Contribution Award from National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers

Jennifer Eccles PhD, RN, FAADN, received the Exceptional Leader Contribution State Representative Subscriber Award from the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers.
Eccles serves as the executive director of the Center for Nursing Equity and Excellence, Minnesota’s nursing workforce center housed at the University of Minnesota in collaboration with Minnesota State.
The Exceptional Leader Contribution Award recognizes exceptional engagement, advocacy and collaboration.
Eccles was presented the award on June 23 at the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers annual conference that was held in Minneapolis. The conference brought nurses and healthcare leaders together to share creative models of practice, workforce data analysis and interpretation, and innovations in nursing education to address critical workforce development issues.
The National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers is a group of nurse workforce entities that focus on addressing the nursing shortage within their states and contributes to the national effort to assure an adequate supply of qualified nurses to meet the health needs in the United States.
