Galegher receives the American College of Nurse-Midwives Excellence in Teaching Award

Erin Galegher, DNP, MPH, APRN, CNM, an adjunct faculty member, was selected to receive the American College of Nurse-Midwives Excellence in Teaching Award. 

This student-driven award honors an instructor who has shown outstanding qualities for teaching, who has inspired students to excel and who repeatedly promoted high standards of midwifery education.

Galegher is a certified nurse-midwife, practicing with HealthPartners. She earned a master’s degree in public health, master’s degree in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Minnesota.

The University of Minnesota midwifery program is ranked No. 8 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
