HealthPartners Fritz to deliver commencement address Dec. 19

The School of Nursing will celebrate the graduation of Master of Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice students at a ceremony Dec. 19 at Northrop at 2 p.m.
Melissa Fritz, DNP, RN, ACNS-BC, CENP, FAONL, will deliver the commencement address. Fritz is vice president of Patient Care and chief nursing officer at Methodist Hospital, part of the HealthPartners System. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Baylor University, a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota with a focus on the adult health clinical nurse specialist program, and a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. She is certified in Executive Nursing Practice, holds the Fellow designation from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, and currently serves as president-elect of the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing.
Sudha Setty, MPH, will speak on behalf of Master of Nursing students.
