The Interdisciplinary Journal of Partnership Studies (IJPS), which is the first open access, peer reviewed journal published by the University of Minnesota, celebrated its 10th anniversary in December.

Since 2014, IJPS has provided a global audience with online and open access to 230 articles written by more than 330 authors in 24 issues. The vision for the journal is to share scholarship and create connections for cultural transformation to build a world in which all relationships, institutions, policies and organizations are based on principles of partnership.

The journal is a partnership of the School of Nursing, the University of Minnesota Libraries, and the Center for Partnership Studies.

A celebration was held Dec. 12, with remarks by founders Riane Eisler, JD, (Center for Partnership Systems), Teddie Potter, PhD, RN, FAAN, FNAP, (School of Nursing), Elizabeth Weinfurter, MLIS, (University of Minnesota Libraries) and others about the vision for the future of IJPS.

“There’s so much more that IJPS is capable of doing as we continue to grow, and we have to do it together,” said IJPS Executive Editor Stephanie Gingerich, DNP, RN, CPN. “We’re looking forward to what these next few years, 10 years if we’re fortunate enough, will look like.”
