Juneteenth People Award honors ambassadorship

McHie Juneteenth Award

Dean Connie White Delaney, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI, FNAP, and Alison Clarke, on behalf of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Class of 1964, received the African American Registry 2025 Juneteenth People Award. The award recognizes individuals and groups who, with know-how, have extended themselves with ambassadorship, energy and resources. The awards were presented by Ben Mchie, the executive director of the African American Registry. Blending activism, scholarship and civic engagement, the African American Registry prepares all people to endure and excel through education and learning. The registry is the most comprehensive online database resource of African American history in the world.
