Wilkie serves as guest co-editor of Creative Nursing’s issue focused on Indigenous voices

The August issue of Creative Nursing focuses on Indigenous Voices Sharing Our Stories and Leading Change, with Clinical Professor Misty Wilkie, PhD, RN, FAAN, Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa/Métis, serving as guest co-editor.

Wilkie’s article Decolonizing Health and Restoring Balance: Indigenous-Led Efforts to Improve Health Outcomes Among American Indian and Alaska Native Populations Through Doctoral Nursing Education shares insights gained in her role as director of the Doctoral Education Pathway for American Indian/Alaska Native Nurses at the University of Minnesota.
