Sadly, our everyday work occurs in contexts that actively disvalue flourishing, which makes any effort to incorporate flourishing practices countercultural. In our next Flourishing Health Care Forum, Jake Wright, Ph.D. will discuss how to incorporate flourishing into education as a model for developing a flourishing-focused counterculture. Following the presentation, attendees will participate in a discussion on how to make progress from a collection of flourishing practices to a flourishing-focused culture.

The Flourishing Health Care Forum is nexus of inspiration and connection for faculty and clinicians at the forefront of initiatives promoting flourishing in healthcare practice, education, and research. The forum is hosted by the Center for Flourishing Health Care Communities, a joint venture of University of Minnesota School of Nursing and University of Minnesota Rochester in collaboration with Mayo Clinic and the Center for Nursing Equity and Excellence.
