Information About How These Resources Were Developed

A 3-year HRSA funded project, "Comprehensive Geriatric Education Program" was awarded by the Health Resource Services Administration (HRSA) to the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. It was coordinated with the Center for Aging Science and Care Innovation.

Faculty (PDF) from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing provided expertise and facilitation that supported the delivery of 10 one day regional workshops (PDF) on Successful Clinical Teaching in Nursing Homes in 4 states (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, and the Tribal Colleges).

The workshop agenda (PDF) provided both instruction and interactive opportunities for the attendees.

E-Newsletters (PDF): Clinical Teaching in Nursing Homes disseminated information about the work of the grant and resources relevant to geriatric nursing.
