Andra Fjone passed away Sept. 21, 2025. Fjone was a pediatric nurse practitioner and a clinical assistant professor at the School of Nursing. During her career, she received a School of Nursing Excellence in Nursing Education Award and a Daisy Faculty Award. Fjone was named Pediatric Nurse Practitioner of the Year by the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and later served as the chapter’s president.
George Reilly passed away Oct. 20, 2025. Reilly graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and practiced at the Leonard, Street and Deinard law firm for his 46-year legal career, later serving as managing partner. In retirement, he served as a board member for the Bentson Foundation and played a key role in the foundation’s philanthropy to the School of Nursing. With his wife, the late Millicent “Dadee” Reilly, he established the George and Dadee Reilly Nursing Scholarship, which supports undergraduate and master degree seeking students in the School of Nursing who demonstrate academic merit and financial need.
Jerome “Jerry” Robertson passed away Jan. 14. Robertson served in the U.S. Air Force and worked in Minneapolis Public Schools. He taught social studies across several junior and senior high schools. He and his wife, Pat Robertson (MS ’68), established the Patricia A. Robertson Scholarship, which supports students with financial need across all degree programs at the School of Nursing.
