Laura Batista de Oliveira, DNP, CRNA, RN

Laura Batista de Oliveira, DNP, CRNA, is a clinical assistant professor and associate director of the nurse anesthesia specialty. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in nurse anesthesia from the University of Minnesota and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University in North Dakota. Dr. Batista de Oliveira currently practices as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist in Burnsville, Minnesota, and her scholarship focuses on emergency airway management, which included implementing a workshop for practicing CRNAs emphasizing emergency surgical airways as part of her DNP project. She is passionate about educating future nursing professionals as they work together to improve patient, community, and global health.
