Biographical Summary

Dr. Delkoski is a clinical associate professor in the School of Nursing with a diverse nursing background. She has worked as a registered nurse in various units, including labor and delivery, postpartum, trauma, and life support. Additionally, she has served as a patient care coordinator at the U of M Maternal Fetal Medicine Center. Dr. Delkoski's teaching responsibilities include the WHNP DNP program, where she has been involved in increasing experience in didactic courses and implementing innovative teaching methods like the flipped classroom approach. She actively collaborates with colleagues to implement evidence-based care and share their findings with the healthcare community. Furthermore, Dr. Delkoski has been involved in advising DNP projects, publishing manuscripts, co-authoring presentations, and serving on committees focused on improving healthcare outcomes and reducing disparities for women and infants.

Dr. Delkoski  has served as a preceptor for WHGRNP students in class and in clinical training while standardizing the onboarding process. She has also mentored students and participated in committees aimed at improving perinatal care quality. Dr. Delkoski's commitment to communication and inclusivity is evident in her role as a communication liaison for the Minnesota Nurse Practitioners Association, where she launched a Twitter account and increased engagement with the membership. She has actively incorporated inclusive language, social determinants of health considerations, trauma-informed care, and awareness of healthcare disparities into her teaching and clinical practice. Dr. Delkoski has made substantial contributions across teaching, research, and service, demonstrating her impact as an educator and healthcare professional.
