Integrative Health and Healing Specialty

The University of Minnesota School of Nursing is seeking a faculty to lead the Integrative Health and Healing (IHH) specialty in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program.  The IHH specialty coordinator, in collaboration with the IHH specialty faculty and the Assistant Dean for the DNP Program, is responsible for the quality of the approved curriculum for the specialty, including oversight of the courses, students, preceptors, and practicum sites in the context of University of Minnesota academic requirements, School of Nursing policies, procedures and standards, and CCNE and relevant specialty competencies. The IHH specialty coordinator would teach IHH specialty courses as well as other courses in the BSN, MN and DNP programs as part of a full time faculty position.  The faculty appointment can be either tenured, tenure track or clinical track, depending on qualifications.

We are seeking an individual who has academic and practice background in integrative health and healing. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the integrative nursing framework and the application of the principles of integrative nursing in clinical practice. Active membership in the  in the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine & Health and their integrative nursing special interest group is recommended.
