Lynn (Soppeland) Assimacopoulos, BSN ’62, has published three books, including a 2023 children’s book titled A Happy Color.

Clara Adams-Ender, MS ’69, was featured in an article published by the U.S. Army about her Army nursing career.

Hyeoun-Ae Park, MS ’83, received the 2023 IMIA François Grémy Award of Excellence, which recognizes an individual whose dedication to medical informatics has made a lasting contribution to medicine and health care.

Kathleen Ohman, MS ’87, published the 4th edition of Davis’s Q&A for N-CLEX RN. Ohman retired from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University after teaching for 37 years in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and is now a professor emerita.

Michelle Franek, MS ’98, started a new role as a nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine at Essentia Health-52nd Avenue Clinic.

Laura Cullen, DNP ’12, co-authored the 2nd edition of Evidence-Based Practice in Action. The book received a 2022 American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year Award as a second place winner in the nursing research category.

Shanda Demorest, DNP ’17, BSN ’13, was a panelist at the 2023 Aspen Ideas: Health conference.

Amanda Zerr, DNP ’13, started a new role as a nurse practitioner at Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic. She specializes in rheumatology.

Jung In Park, PhD ’16, was featured in a Healthcare IT News interview about her work with artificial intelligence and machine learning at the University of California Irvine School of Nursing.

Wendy Williams, DNP ’16, started a new role as the Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer at Advocate Health.

Paige Hardy, DNP ’21, started as an associate professor in the nurse-midwifery program at Bethel University.

Paiton Schwab, BSN ’22, has organized several blood drives since 2013 in memory of her sister. The Post Bulletin featured the blood drive in an article.

Anna Ludowese, DNP ’23, was awarded the Board of Directors scholarship for the American Psychiatric Nurses Association Annual Conference.
