Eccles elected secretary of National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers board

Jennifer Eccles, PhD, RN, FAADN, was elected to serve as secretary of the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers board of directors.
Eccles serves as the executive director of the Center for Nursing Equity and Excellence, which was launched in 2022 by the University of Minnesota and Minnesota State to increase enrollment in nurse education programs, expand equity in the nursing workforce, increase the success of nursing students, and support nurses.
The National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers is a group of nurse workforce entities that focus on addressing the nursing shortage within their states and contributes to the national effort to assure an adequate supply of qualified nurses to meet the health needs in the United States.
