Stringer published Bridging Artificial and Human Intelligence: Implementation Strategies and Case Studies in Healthcare, co-edited by Dean Connie White Delaney, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI, FNAP. Additional editors include Ursula H. Hübner, PhD, FIAHSI, Giovanni Rubeis, PhD, and Marion J. Ball, EdD.

The book provides a comprehensive overview about where human intelligence and artificial intelligence overlap and differ, and how they can mutually enhance healthcare outcomes. Case studies illustrate the value of AI for healthcare providers, patients and caregivers, and provide organizational strategies for implementing change and facilitating usability. 

Associate Professor Martin Michalowski, PhD, FAMIA, co-wrote the chapter Principles of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data in Healthcare.
