Rising Star Award

Criteria

This award honors a recent graduate who is achieving noteworthy success in at least two of the following areas:

1. Their career trajectory
   How have they taken on additional responsibilities, roles, and leadership (both formal and informal)?
2. Entrepreneurship endeavors
   What personal endeavors have they started, and how has that made an impact on the field of nursing? 
3. Scholastic accomplishments
   ​​​​​​​What research, innovation or advanced nursing degree program have they participated in that has contributed to nursing knowledge and outcomes?
4. Distinguished service to the School of Nursing, the profession of nursing or the community.
   How has the nominee made an impact as an agent of change, implemented new evidence-based practices, or created a better environment as a volunteer leader?

Eligibility

Eligible individuals are graduates from the School of Nursing within the past 10 years.
