AJPH special issue highlights faculty’s public health nursing expertise

The American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) recently published the special issue The American Public Health Nursing After COVID-19: Strengthening, Rebuilding, and Reimagining the System, with several University of Minnesota School of Nursing faculty contributing expertise.
Professor Emeritus Karen Monsen, PhD, RN, FAMIA, FNAP, FAAN, served as a guest editor with Linda McCauley, dean of Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, and Catherine Waters, Sally Bates professor and associate dean for academic affairs, University of California San Francisco School of Nursing.
The supplement issue of AJPH, published in June, covers nursing and public health, offering insight into the importance of nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the future of nursing. Papers engage with nursing and its intersection with climate change, vaccine readiness, community resilience and home visiting.
