Joyce M. Schowalter, BSN ’58, passed away on May 26 at the age of 91. She spent most of her life in Minneapolis where she worked as a registered nurse and as executive director of the Minnesota State Board of Nursing. She was a founding member and later President of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
