PhD student Chanhee Kim was the recipient of the Health Administration Section Student Achievement Award at the 2024 American Public Health Association (APHA) Conference in October. The award is given to the student whose abstract receives the highest score in the health administration section and recognizes outstanding contributions in public health administration.
The School of Nursing will celebrate the graduation of Master of Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD students at a ceremony Dec. 13 at Northrop at 2 p.m.
The School of Nursing Alumni Society Board named the 2024 recipients of its annual awards – the Excellence in Practice Award, Distinguished Alumni Humanitarian Award and Rising Star Award. Awardees were honored at the All School Reunion in October.
The University of Minnesota School of Nursing was ranked No. 46 in Shanghai Ranking’s 2024 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. It is the first time the school has been ranked in the top 50.
Dean Connie White Delaney, PhD, RN, FAAN, FACMI, FNAP, was named to the list of 100 Most Influential Health Care Leaders by Minnesota Physician. The honor recognizes 100 leaders who help make health care in Minnesota a global model of excellence.
