The Office of Nursing Research and Scholarship announced School of Nursing Foundation grant awards. Three faculty and one PhD student received funding to advance nurse research.
Clinical Professor Mary Benbenek, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, CPNP-PC, FAANP, FNAP, received a grant for Patients Engaged! Exploring Patient Perspectives to Transform Primary Care.
Assistant Professor Cindy Bradley, PhD, RN, CNE, CHSE, received a grant for Patients’ and Family Caregivers’ Experiences and Perceived Needs Related to Education for Home Self-management of a Clinical Device.
Clinical Associate Professor Maria Ruud, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC, received a grant for Identification of Best Practices for LGBTQ+ Curriculum in US Nurse Practitioner Programs.
