The School of Nursing celebrated faculty and staff at the Spring Gala in May

Faculty and students at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing are teaming up with experts in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to identify the location of public restrooms and portable toilets along every bicycle path and route throughout Minnesota. 

Leaders in public health, health care and research from the University of Minnesota and Cuba shared insights about the COVID-19 rollout at a virtual forum on April 21.

Faculty, students and community members gathered virtually April 16 for the school’s annual Nursing Research Day. The theme this year was Care and Caregiving in a Complex World.

Three University of Minnesota nursing students will be recognized as Rising Stars of Research and Scholarship by Sigma, the International Honor Society of Nursing. 

The 2021-2023 cohort includes Cynthia Bradley, PhD, RN, CNE, CHSE, Nasra Giama, DNP, RN, PHN, Barb McMorris, PhD, Lisiane Pruinelli, PhD, RN, FAMIA, Sripriya Rajamani, PhD, MPH, MBBS, FAMIA, and Erica Schorr, PhD, RN, FAHA.
