Biographical Summary
Dr. Arielle Skalisky is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who identifies as a Black Midwife. She graduated from the University of Minnesota's DNP program in 2020. She holds joint positions with MHealth Fairview/University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota's School of Nursing, where she serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor. With over five years of experience in labor and delivery nursing, Dr. Skalisky is co-founder of the Indigenous and Midwives of Color Committee of the Minnesota Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Her clinical and research interests focus on perinatal mood disorders, substance use disorders in pregnancy, reproductive justice, and birth equity in minority and underserved communities, and she serves as co-chair of the Perinatal Equity Committee within the Minnesota Perinatal Quality Collaborative.
