Biography
Biographical Summary
Dr. Olof Indridadottir is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. She is passionate about bringing a culturally competent, whole-person approach to patient care and nursing education. Dr. Olof has a broad clinical background, with a specialty in integrative nursing and rehabilitation nursing care.
Dr. Olof holds a doctoral degree in integrative health from the University of Minnesota. Her teaching philosophy focuses on promoting a whole-person approach as well as diversity, equity and inclusivity. She has practical experience working in rehabilitation and medical-surgical units as an advanced holistic nurse, certified rehabilitation registered nurse, and clinical instructor caring for patients across the lifespan.
In addition to her nursing career, Dr. Olof is a professional football fan and was named the official Minnesota Vikings Fan of the Year. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and rescue dog. Her hobbies include reading books, knitting, and playing football and soccer with her sons. Dr. Olof is known for her excellent teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with colleagues, patients, and families.
