Only one application is required for the Master of Nursing (MN) program. We encourage you to apply early and to complete and submit all components before the deadline for the program.
Applicants interested in University of Minnesota's MN program should apply through NursingCAS, an online, centralized application service for nursing programs.
To start your application
- Visit Nursing CAS and select your term of entry. Then click APPLY
- Click on “Create Account”
- Complete the required fields in order to start your application
Although some sections of the NursingCAS application are marked “optional” please follow the guidelines for the University of Minnesota requirements for MN applicants.

Application deadline information
* For an application to be reviewed all application documents must be verified in NursingCAS.
- Priority Deadline: December 17th, 2024
- Applicants with a verified application at the priority deadline can anticipate receiving a decision by early March.
- Applications verified after December 17th will be considered on a rolling basis and as such the application could shift to waitlist consideration only or close at any time if enrollment capacity is reached.
