Austin, Rajamani receive Academic Forum Best Paper Award

Assistant Professor Robin Austin, PhD, DNP, DC, RN-BC, FAMIA, FNAP, and Associate Professor Sripriya Rajamani, PhD, MBBS, MPH, FAMIA, were named the recipients of the Academic Forum Best Paper Award for Updating of a Doctoral Nursing Informatics Program to Align with AACN Essentials, Industry Trends, and Workforce Needs. The abstract discussed the Doctor of Nursing Practice nursing informatics curriculum and American Association of Colleges of Nursing alignment.

The Academic Forum Best Paper Award honors papers that identify and promote sound and innovative teaching practices and education that further health informatics practice. This award is presented annually at the Linking Informatics and Education Academic Forum Conference as part of the American Medical Informatics Association Annual Symposium.
