U.S. News ranks DNP program 18th, nursing informatics specialty 2nd

The School of Nursing’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program was ranked No. 18 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 edition of Best Graduate Schools published today. U.S. News also recognized the school’s nursing informatics specialty as No. 2 in the nation and its health innovation and leadership specialty placed No. 12 in the nursing administration category. The school’s nurse midwifery specialty was No. 4 in a previous ranking of best midwifery schools by U.S. News.  

Among the data analyzed by U.S. News in compiling its ranking of 182 DNP programs were quality assessment, student selectivity, faculty resources and research activity. Specialty rankings were based on assessments by nursing school deans and deans of graduate studies.
