Clinical Associate Professor Stephanie Delkoski, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC, received the Inspiration in Women’s Health Award for Education from the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH).

Delkoski received the award for her leadership, innovation and contributions to women's and gender-related health care. The national award recognizes certified women’s health nurse practitioners who exemplify the highest levels of achievement in advancing women’s and gender related health.

Delkoski is the women’s health/gender-related nurse practitioner specialty coordinator in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program and has a faculty practice at an interprofessional academic women’s health clinic. She provides gynecologic, obstetric and primary care to women across the lifespan and educates students from multiple disciplines. Delkoski serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Nurse Practitioners Association. Her scholarship has focused on interprofesional collaboration and education, innovative teaching approaches for APRN students, and quality improvement projects to optimize the health of women.

Delkoski received the award at the NPWH Women’s Healthcare Conference in Chicago in September. NPWH is the leading advocate for nearly 14,000 certified women’s health nurse practitioners and champions in gender-related health care.
