Moss inducted into Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing

Margaret Moss, PhD, JD, RN, FAAN, FADLN, associate dean for Nursing and Health Policy, was named to the class of fellows selected for the newly established Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing (ADLN) by the National Black Nurses Association.

The inaugural ADLN fellows demonstrate expertise in nursing education, research, practice, policy or administration related to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion.

Moss was inducted as a Luminary ADLN fellow. Each Luminary ADLN fellow has 30 years of nursing experience and has continued to provide innovative groundbreaking work.

An enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation with Dakhóta lineage, Moss holds the distinction of being the first and only American Indian to earn both nursing and law doctoral degrees. Throughout her career, Moss has made significant contributions to healthcare policy and Indigenous health

Moss was inducted at a ceremony in July during the Institute and Conference of the National Black Nurses Association.
