As the University of Minnesota School of Nursing launches the 2022-2023 academic year, it is welcoming 10 new full-time faculty, including three professors.

The American Academy of Nursing (AAN) announced that Clinical Professor Cheri Friedrich, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, FNAP, was selected to be inducted into the 2022 Class of Fellows

Assistant Professor Cynthia Bradley, PhD, RN, CNE, CHSE, will be inducted into the prestigious Academy of Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing (NLN).

Christine Mueller, PhD, RN, FGSA, FAAN, Katherine R. & C. Walton Lillehei Chair in Nursing Leadership, was appointed by Gov. Tim Walz to the Minnesota Board on Aging (MBA).

The American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) recently published the special issue The American Public Health Nursing After COVID-19: Strengthening, Rebuilding, and Reimagining the System, with several University of Minnesota School of Nursing faculty contributing expertise.
