An exemplary partnership between the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and Fairview Health Services/University of Minnesota Health system Nursing Collaboratory was recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing for its national leadership and innovation. 

Mary Chesney, PhD, RN, CNP was named the director of the School of Nursing’s doctor of nursing practice (DNP) program July 1, 2010.

Congratulations to Barbara Leonard, PhD, RN, FAAN, who retired May 2010, is now a Professor Emeritus in the School of Nursing.
