The University of Minnesota is No. 6 in the 2023-2024 ranking of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs by U.S. News & World Report. This is the highest the school’s DNP program has been placed by U.S. News. It was No. 7 in the previous ranking.

In his new book, which debuted at #1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list, he reimagines the debate on poverty, making the argument that poverty continues to exist in the United States because wealthy people benefit from it.

Faculty, students and community partners gathered in person and virtually April 14 for the school’s Nursing Research Day, Addressing Health Disparities and Promoting Social Justice through Nursing Research.

Clinical Assistant Professor Joanne Donnelly, DNP, APRN, CRNA, was selected to be inducted as a 2023 Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA).

Two School of Nursing research projects were among the eight projects awarded approximately $160,000 by the University of Minnesota Global Programs and Strategy Alliance.
